153

Hooray.  Another pound.  :)

Progress is progress, even when its slow, right?

The biggest victory last week was going to a party Saturday night and being so full from dinner that I didn't eat anything.  Not even the yummy looking brownie things.

The upcoming challenge is that Sarah has started swim team, which meets at 6 AM on Monday and Friday.  This means no boot camp.  Walking the dog will now be my main form of exercise most days.

And so it is.

  1. Yay for 153!!! And yes, progress is progress! You are making life changes, not just scale changes. The payoff will be greater than the number in terms of health.

So, you'll have to drop her off during boot camp time? Do you have time to go home for an exercise session? Video, handweights? Or does this absolutely eliminate the morning now? I'm thinking even if you could add a morning race walk to the evening dog walking, you'll double the calorie burn for the day, and start your day off with the healthy mindset.

  2. Rob is dropping off during boot camp time, so I will continue to walk/run with the dog every morning and evening. If I can think of a decent schedule (ie every other day) I can do my at home strength training, but that schedule hasn't come to me yet. I WILL still work out in the morning - but I was enjoying the boot camp, and I think I was enjoying the effects as well.

I don't know why sugar has been rearing its ugly head back up. Still working on that one, too. Yesterday I did really, really well until after supper, and then the brownies called. Today it was the birthday gift Butterfinger.
